Detailed Itinerary
Your trek begins after breakfast (around 9 AM). Meet your licensed, English-speaking guide at your guesthouse for a short safety briefing. You'll then cross the Bohorok river and officially enter the Gunung Leuser National Park. The trail winds up and down through the dense rainforest, where your guide will help you spot orangutans and other wildlife. After a refreshing fruit break deep in the jungle, you will begin your journey back, arriving at your guesthouse around noon or 1 PM.
